MORE THAN STEPS
I want you to understand what you’re doing and feel ready to try it when a song you love comes on.
In class, we work on steps, rhythm and dancing with a partner. You’ll have room to ask questions, make mistakes and try again.
I explain how each movement works, then we practice with simple examples.
We work on rhythm so you know when to step and how to follow the music.
We practice leading or following, respecting each other’s space and moving comfortably together.
Practice helps you feel more comfortable asking someone to dance or saying yes to an invitation.
MEET JOSE
I started dancing at 24, and it became a huge part of my life. Now I share that passion at Medina Dance Studio, here in Antigua Guatemala. I love seeing the moment a step clicks for someone and they start enjoying it.
My approach is simple: explain it, try it and practice. If something isn’t clear, we find another way to work through it. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, enjoy learning and take what we practice onto the dance floor.

Q200 total for a 60-minute class with Jose, or Q250 total with Jose and an additional female instructor. Prices are per session, not per person. Request the additional instructor when booking; Jose must confirm her availability.
